These Guys ROCK If you didn't know it before you do now!! Gred Hard and Leo Laporte KICK ASS!!! Here's why!

I am just a lonely (extemely lonely) webmaster who likes to sit at his machine and kick out pretty little webpages for everyone's little eyes to see!!! But I am cheap, very cheap, I don't make cash off of ANY of this. I do it all for the sport you could say.

So when I started my Sarah Lane, Segment Producer for TechTV's "The Screen Savers", I knew that I was not going to make any cash off the site but I wanted to do it for kicks and giggles. I started the site on my own personal server over at http://www.chrishileman.com. But I only had 100 mb of server space and only 50 was open and on top of that my host only gave me 1.5 gb of of bandwidth each month to work with. But after the site was lauched I started getting as much as 1800 hits per day and that started to kill my alocated bandwidth. So I started shopping around for a new cool host for the Sarah fansite. I talked to Mike (the cool guy who gave me this blog) but he thought I might bog down one of his servers, so I looked other places. Of course I have no cash to work with so I put in a few request for server space from a few friends but none of them said they could handle the site. Then one day I got an instant message from one of the guys from TSS Addicts and they offered me a large chunk of server space and a CRAP LOAD of bandwidth! So I jumped at the idea. I am currently putting the site up right now. I also registered a domain name for the site. The switch should be done by the end of the week. Fun Fun!!

Also Leo Laporte from TechTV has moved his site from Nacio over to one of Mike C's servers @ Annex.com because his old host server just couldn't keep up with the traffic. When he moved he also moved to a new peice of message board software. Sooooo I knew he would have a copy of Discus 4 Pro laying around not being used. So I got on the ball and threw him a quick email asking if he would donate it to the Sarah Lane Fansite. He replied say he would be glad to!!!!! I am pretty physiced about it. I havn't even been given the software yet but I should get it soon.

So to Greg and Leo. I can't thank you enough!!!
