Just got back from the 9PM showing of The Incredibles.  Wow, Pixar has done it again!  What a wonderful show!  Like most of Pixars movies it has a great mix of humor, action, and surprise.  As for dips in action, it did have a couple.  But they did have to setup the story to touch on your emotional side.  It was full of plot twists and beautiful animation.

I can see why Pixar wants to break off from Disney.  Name a great Disney film in the last few years.  Kinda hard huh?  Now look at all Pixar has pushed out the doors.  Pixar has out grown Disney.  They needed the backing to get their feet in the movie business, but not Pixar is just too much for the dying company.  They have to off set sagging movie ticket sales with jacking up prices at Disney land.  I hear that Pixar is going to find a new publisher for it’s films in 2006 when it’s contract with Disney is up.  I think after that they will just start putting out more, and better films without having to give a large chunk of their profits to “the man”.  Pixar is genious, and I can only see things getting better.  They put out funny, clean, family fun for all ages.  What more could you ask?  They have the technology, they have the talent, and when they break loose, look out.  Hats off to Pixar on another great show!

Everything didn’t turn out roses at the cinema, I’m just tired of paying money to see a movie and then to sit through 10 minutes of ads then 15 minutes of previews.  Total BS for my hour of work to pay for the movie.  But I digress.
