Going over me At chuch I've been putting my tithe into the sound system fund, savingup to get a nice set of choir mics. Total coast would be $340 for a set the great Shure mics. Shure makes some of the best stuff in the biz. Wel I just about has the money before surgery. While I was gone the pastor wnet to our local sound store and used that money to buy one of the worst set of "choir mics" in the world. Total effective range with our system. 1 fot. They are not hanging mics, they are on stands and just sound like crap. They have off/on switches, which are horrible. If someone went to sing and the switch was off we'd be screwed because I would be helpless. I can turn mics off at the board, I don't need to do it on the mic. I'm going to give the pastor a a peice of my mind tomorrow. I'm going to tell him to take them back and we'll raise the money for the cost differnce and amybe a restocking fee.
