Boy do I feel retarded!  I was at the Ball State home coming parade today watching for my brother who is with the University Sings and while I was watching it go by, this guy just hands me a tie, I say thanks and he walks off.  After I looked at the tie and realized what it was and who gave it to me I just about shot myself!  I’ve always known Jim Davis the creator of Garfield lived here in Muncie but figured I would never see him.  But holy shit!  I got a tie handed to me by Jim Davis HIMSELF.  The who wrote the greatest cartoon strip on the planet, the comic I adored and worships to this very day gave me a freakin tie and I didn’t even reconize him!  God I’m retarded.  I might email Jim though the site and see if he’d be willing to sign it for me.  I’m not going to fall asleep and snuggle up with my tie.
