Show covering the Xbox 360 launch
The Xbox360 Launched on Tuesday. Most stores has about 30 or so consoles on hand. Most sold out within the first few hours. People are talking about a planned shortage, but MS claims that they will be shipping 3 million in the first 90 days. There is always a shortage when a new console comes out. I’m not worried.
Reviews of the 360 are mediocre at best. From what they say it’s mostly better graphics and a descent UI, but nothing revolutionary.
We do have reports of crashing like crazy. It’s MS folks! It happens!

Of course someone had to be an idiot in launch date. A man robed an EB Games at gun point to get 2 of the new consoles.

I was getting ready to uncover a new podcast dealing with the Folding@Home project and HardOCP’s team. It was going to promote the project and our team. As well as cover everything in the Folding@Home world. But due to legal reasons I can’t really associate it with the HardOCP name.
It really upsets me, I want to do something good for the team, something I’m good at and want to put effort into and it gets knocked down. I’m throwing around the idea of doing just a general folding podcast. But I’d probably have to clear it though the guys at Stanford. Man it sucks all the red tape you have you have to go though these days. I just want to help, but I guess that’s not good enough anymore.
Posted by chris at 12:43 PMI just got the Bygones Bar and Grill website up and running. It’s got some cool stuff on it including upcoming comedy, info on our house band, and a soon to come gallery. Lots of work left to do on it, but it’s coming.
Posted by chris at 08:48 AMGot a new audio setup. That’s why the lack of shows. Gonna have something in the next day or two I hope.
Here’s what I’ve got if you’re interested.
