So not only can we run HomeBrew on our 1.5 PSPs but we can now change the background to the UI. Get the details here

I’ve got some great images on mine. It’s a slick hack. Bet it wouldn’t be that popular if Sony would have had it in the initial PSP release. Hack on fellas!
Posted by chris at 06:20 PMSo this weekend was my first weekend DJing at Bygones Bar and Grill in town. I was crazy stuff, tons of hotties all around. We rocked the house. Big Daddy, the house band, was kickin even minus their keyboards. I’ve got some things to work on this week for next weekend but it will just make it party harder.
So I had this girl come up and ask if I was married, ummm no, then she asked if I had a girlfriend, ummm no. She then told me her friend thought I was totally sexy (???) and wanted to know if I would dance with her. Well of course I wasn’t ready for this. I said I’d see if I could slip out of the DJ booth. But of course I knew I couldn’t, shit I was working. For future reference I need to tell them I can’t leave but if I’m interested I’ll give her my number. Rookie mistake.
When I get a chance I’ll shoot some pictures and post them for you guys. IF you are in the Muncie, IN area be sure to check Bygones Bar and Grill. I’ll be there on weekends keeping the party going!

Posted by chris at 10:49 PMI’ve have an Interview at Kohls here in town. I applied for a night stocker position but I hope maybe they have a part time manager’s position open. If I get this job I hope to work Sun-Thur from 10-6am and then DJ at Bygones Bar and Grill Friday and Saturday from 9pm-3am (that starts this weekend, more info to come). So say a prayer for me at 3pm Indiana time, it worked last time during my GameStop interview.
Posted by chris at 12:17 PMOk, so now Apple is switching to the X86 platorm for it’s chip of choice. I’m still not interested until we see a shipping OSX that I can run on my current Athlon 2100+. Come on Apple, get it right, one platform two OS’s (of cource I mean OSX and Linux). I guess it’s a start. At least Steve can proclaim from the mountains that he delivered on his 3GHZ promise. I thought MHZ didn’t matter to Apple? Guess that’s not true.
Posted by chris at 01:01 AMSo I found a local WIFI network I can jump on to do some general web surfing but it’s a low signal and kinda hard to do any major downloading/uploading so it’s mostly web traffic. But I did get a copy of systm downloaded
What is systm? It is downloadable tech HOW-TO content created by former techTV guys. It’s great because they don’t really have any time constraints so they can explain things as much as they need to and you get the video how you want it. For example, their first episode is in about 5 different format including H.264, xVid, and my favorite, mp4 for the PSP. The first spisode is about creating a custom warsapying device (watching in on video camera feeds). Check it out! http://www.systm.org
Posted by chris at 11:08 AMWe are still without internet so no new shows for a week or so. We move into the new diggs on the 12th and Comcast should have THAT house up and running, or so they say. Stay tuned and subscribed!
