Hulk Review
I went to see Hulk last night. My thoughts? Not a horrible movie, but one I doubt I'll see again.
Now I never read the comic or watched the show (or so I'm told there was one). So I was a complete stranger to the story line. Thought that that could add something to the movie, a complete stanger reviewing it.
I will have to say they did a descent job at putting CG and reality together. You would tell 90% of the movie was done with CG. 136 minutes made for a LONG drawn out plot and it was slowest at the start.
Ok, so I'm not must of a movie reviewer (would much rather be doing hardware reviews). In the last 2 weeks I have also watched 2 Fast 2 Furious and Bruce Almighty. If I get bored I'll write more lame reviews. Next flick to see is T3. Posted by chris at 12:25 AM Movies • (9) Trackbacks

Rerouted Hardware
Remember me complaining about my D-Link Router dying? Well I sent it in, and I got an email tonight saying SOMETHING is headed back this way. They didn't say if it was a replacement or the dead one. But I'm hoping it's a replacement.

New Archive Structure
I've redid the archiving strucure of this blog. I know it will kill some of your old links to posts but my archives folder was getting absolutely killed with tons of files (of 570 post plus pictures and popup pages). The new entry links are in the form of http://www.technoblog.com/archives/2003/06/title.php. And monthly archinves are in the form of http://www.technoblog.com/archives/2003/06/index.php. If you have any problems let me know!

Beach FUn
I'm headed to Indiana Beach today for a yearly company picnic. You know how many times I've been there?? Countless. I don't plan on riding many rides, mainly just sit on the beach and work off my whiteness.

Another another company screwing us over
You all know Cafe Press don't you? Well I strongly suggest that you stop using them. Here's why. It's yet another company wanting to make a cash crop off their users. It will drive away a lot of users who AUCTUALLY read the TOS. I know I usually don't but thanks to Jazy for the heads up.
You know who else is going this kind of thing? Gaming websites! Game Spot as well as many others have starting charging money for EVERYTHING on their sites. I think I'll continue to read Game Revolution for my gaming needs. I don't see them charging fees anytime soon. But you never know. Posted by chris at 11:56 AM Complaints • (7) Trackbacks

You'll be missed
Bandwidth Place's Speed Test has be shut down for good. That is a shame, it was a great place to go if you wanted to make sure your connection was proforming like it should. DSL Reports is doing some odd things with points and such, plus they do it in Java and it is just a pain in the butt.
I they say they killed it due to high costs. I would think so! 95 million speed checks? Mine were usually aroud 3mb/s and they just had to cost a chunk to keep going. Someone want to donate some bandwidth their way? A few OC-48's should be enough. ;-b Posted by chris at 11:35 AM Internet • (10) Trackbacks

Tangled Mess
The UPS guy came around 4:30 today with my router. I met them 1/2 way up to the house. I ripped open the packaging. I was tired of not having a network! I didn't rip their head off. It was UPS LADY to tell the truth. But while I was out my networking stuff, I did some rearranging in my closet and setup some shelving for all that kind of stuff to get it out of my way. Here's a pic. Mess huh?
